Shipping within Australia
Public Enemy Coffee Roasters currently ships to addresses throughout Australia using Australia Post.
Shipping charges and available delivery options are displayed at checkout before payment is completed.
We do not currently offer international shipping unless an international delivery option is specifically made available at checkout.
Freshly roasted coffee
Our coffee is roasted fresh rather than stored for extended periods before dispatch.
Most orders are prepared and dispatched within 48 hours. However, depending on roasting schedules, order volumes, weekends and public holidays, please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be dispatched.
Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude New South Wales public holidays.
Order confirmation and tracking
Once your order has been packed and lodged with Australia Post, we will update your order with tracking information.
Where an email address or mobile number has been provided, Australia Post may also send tracking and delivery notifications directly to you.
Tracking information may take several hours to become active after the parcel has been lodged or scanned.
Delivery timeframes
Delivery estimates provided at checkout or through Australia Post are estimates only and begin after the parcel has been dispatched.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on:
- the destination
- whether the address is metropolitan, regional or remote
- Australia Post processing times
- weekends and public holidays
- weather, road closures or other transport disruptions
- unusually high parcel volumes
Public Enemy Coffee Roasters does not control Australia Post’s delivery network and cannot guarantee a specific delivery date once an order has been dispatched.
However, this does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law if an order is not delivered within the agreed timeframe or within a reasonable time.
Delayed parcels
Australia Post advises that most delayed parcels arrive within 5 business days of the expected delivery date.
Please check the tracking information first. If your parcel remains significantly overdue, contact us with your order number and delivery postcode.
We may need to lodge an enquiry with Australia Post on your behalf. Australia Post investigations can take several business days, and we may need to wait for the outcome before determining the appropriate resolution.
Lost parcels
If Australia Post confirms that a parcel has been lost, we will assess the circumstances and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund.
We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer. However, we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Parcels marked as delivered
If tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check:
- around the delivery address and any safe-drop locations
- with other occupants of the property
- with reception, a mailroom or neighbouring premises
- whether Australia Post has taken it to a nearby Post Office
- that the address on your order confirmation is correct
If the parcel still cannot be located, contact us so that an enquiry can be raised with Australia Post.
Authority to leave and safe-drop deliveries
Australia Post may leave a parcel at the delivery address where authority to leave has been provided or where Australia Post determines that a suitable safe location is available.
Customers should ensure that their delivery address has a secure and weather-protected location for parcels.
Where tracking confirms that a parcel was delivered correctly to the address supplied, we may require an Australia Post investigation before approving a replacement or refund.
Incorrect delivery details
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.
Please check the following carefully:
- street address
- unit, suite or building number
- suburb
- state
- postcode
- email address
- mobile number
Contact us immediately if you notice an error.
We will try to amend the address before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once the order has been packed, lodged or collected.
If a parcel is returned to us because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery or did not collect the parcel, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is sent again.
Damaged parcels
Please inspect your parcel when it arrives.
If an item has been damaged in transit, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide:
- your order number
- photographs of the external packaging
- photographs of the damaged product
- a brief description of the damage
Please retain the packaging until the issue has been assessed, as Australia Post may require photographs or inspection as part of a claim.
We will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
Incorrect or missing items
Contact us if your order contains an incorrect item or if part of the order is missing.
Where the mistake was ours, we will arrange an appropriate resolution at no additional cost to you.
