The Cartel is not made by roasting dark and hoping for the best.
The roast profile is developed to build body, chocolate sweetness and structure while stopping before bitterness and burnt roast character take over.
That gives The Cartel enough weight to push cleanly through milk, while keeping the espresso balanced and properly drinkable on its own.
In a flat white or cappuccino, the dark chocolate stays present and the toasted almond rounds out the cup. Served black, it is strong, punchy and direct, without becoming rough around the edges.
